ELSH creates vital social and recreational networks to reduce isolation for Barnsley’s migrant community. We welcome everyone into our friendly spaces.
- The Warm Place: Welcomes individuals with free hot meals, games, and music.
- Peer Support: Fosters a relaxed space for informal English conversation and making friends.
- Women’s Groups: Offers tailored, safe environments for female attendees to build local connections.
- Allotment Project: Engages participants in outdoor gardening, food growing, and teamwork.
- Eco-Therapy: Uses nature-based recreation to boost mental wellbeing, confidence, and physical health. Come along to connect, share, and belong.
