The Educational Learning Support Hub (ELSH) is a registered charity (No. 1186050) and recognized Learning Center. Its mission is to provide free English language education and life skills training to individuals facing language barriers, helping them integrate into society and contribute to the regional economy through inclusive, community-based support

ELSH supports a diverse community, primarily focusing on vulnerable individuals such as refugees, asylum seekers, and EU migrants. Their students come from over 52 different countries, including those with settled or pre-settled status and those awaiting assessment

The hub offers comprehensive ESOL instruction (English for Speakers of Other Languages) covering speaking, reading, listening, and writing. Additionally, they provide courses in Mathematics and ICT (digital literacy), as well as opportunities for work experience and vocational training

No. All English language instruction, basic skills classes, and community support services are provided completely free of charge to students

ELSH partners with the We Are Group to assist with EU settlement applications, passport renewals, citizenship/visa applications, and PIP forms. Furthermore, the hub has achieved Level 1 status in providing OISC (Office of the Immigration Services Commissioner) advice

LSH is always looking for volunteers to help with teaching Maths, TEFL, or ICT, as well as assistance with social media marketing. General volunteers help with student registration, preparing materials, and offering one-on-one support to learners.
